Frequently asked questions

Where is my data stored?
All your data — drivers, sessions, events, feedback, and setup notes — is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to any server. This means it works without an internet connection but also means your data is tied to the device you use. Cloud sync is planned for a future Pro update.
I upgraded to Pro but the app still shows Free
Go to Plans & Access in the app and tap Restore Purchases. This re-checks your purchase with the store and should unlock Pro immediately. If it still doesn't work, contact us at support@racersense.com and include which store you purchased from (Microsoft, Google Play, or App Store).
Can I use the app on multiple devices?
The app can be installed on multiple devices and your Pro purchase will be recognised on all of them via the platform store. However, your data (sessions, events, etc.) is currently stored per-device and does not sync between them. Multi-device cloud sync is on the roadmap for a future update.
How do I back up my data?
Your data is stored in a local SQLite database file on your device. On Windows, you can find it at:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\JamiesonSolutions.RacerSense...\LocalState\racersense.db

Copy this file somewhere safe as your backup. Automatic backup and export features are planned for a future update.
The app crashed or I found a bug — what should I do?
We're sorry to hear that. Please email support@racersense.com with a description of what you were doing when it happened, which platform you're on (Windows, Android, iOS), and your app version number (found in Settings). We'll investigate and get back to you as quickly as possible.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store you purchased from. Please contact the relevant platform directly:

Microsoft Store — refunds within 14 days via account.microsoft.com
Google Play — refunds within 48 hours via play.google.com
Apple App Store — refunds via reportaproblem.apple.com
What platforms is RacerSense available on?
RacerSense is currently available on Windows via the Microsoft Store. Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store) versions are in progress and will be released soon.
